Death – The Destroyer of Pleasure

We all as humans know that death is a fact and everyone shall taste death. Allah SWT confirmed that in the Qur’an by saying “Every soul shall taste death” (Surah Al Imran 3:185). However, as death and life after death are a part of the unseen, thus, we as Muslims can only learn about the death and life after death from the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the prophet S.


 

Description of Hell

All Muslims aim for Jannah as their eternal life and hope to avoid entering Hellfire. The Quran contains many verses which speak about the unlimited eternal blessings of Paradise as well as and warnings from the severe humiliation in Hell.

As we get encouraged to do good deeds when we learn about the beautiful description of Paradise, learning about how Hell looks like can help us stay away from being unjust to others or to ourselves.

HikmahWay Institute recognises the need to have well-grounded knowledge in propagating the message of Islam. To cater for this need, HikmahWay initiated delivery of a unique Da’wah course, which was well-received by the attendees. The second round of the course will commence in 2011/12 Insha-Allah.

“Da’wah Course Online (Concluded)”

Living in a non-Muslim environment provides an opportunity for the Muslim engage in Da’wah activities. A concern though is when one’s Islamic knowledge is not ready for it. The Online Da’wah course is an initiative by HikmahWay to train future callers to Islam. This course is an expansion to the In-person Daw’ah course. Taught by Ustadh Imtiaz Ahmed, the student of eminent Scholar of comparative religion Dr. Zakir Naik, the course is run through an interactive online conferencing module. The course runs on a weekly basis and teaches both basic and advanced comparative religion techniques. Approximately 250 students undertook the course from over 25 countries across the globe. Since its success in the past, many have asked for it to be repeated. As such, Insha-Allah, HikmahWay will admit its second intake by the beginning of next year.
